Fund the Next Generation of Beekeepers.

The James Smith Memorial Scholarship honors longtime WAS member, beekeeper, and mentor Jim Smith by helping students attend WAS conferences and connect with experienced beekeepers, researchers, and educators.

Conference Access

Provide students with registration to attend WAS conferences and learn from leading apicultural experts.

Travel Support

Help cover travel and lodging expenses that allow students to participate in person.

Mentorship & Community

Give emerging beekeepers the opportunity to connect with mentors and become part of the WAS community.

The Western Apicultural Society of North America, Inc. is an IRS-recognized 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, and contributions are tax-deductible to the extent permitted by US federal law.
