New members are first-time; returning members are renewing, even if there has been a lapse in membership over time.

NOTE: Beginning 2016 a $20/year fee applies to new and renewing members who request a PRINT copy of the WAS Journal. If paying membership dues with a check, and choosing the print Journal, please add $20 to your membership fee. If paying online, it will be automatically processed with the membership form.
**Levels (from WAS Bylaws)
Individual – Any person who wishes to join the Society. Voting privileges are included.
Junior – Any person under the age of eighteen (18) years. Voting privileges are excluded.
Senior – Any person the age of sixty-five (65) years or older. Voting privileges are included.
Family –Voting privileges are included for two adults. The Board may offer a “Senior” family discount, if one member or more is 65 years of age or older.
Business – A business entity associated with beekeeping for profit that contributes a specified amount or more to further the educational programs of the Society. Such membership shall have voting privileges, limited to one person who represents the business.
Benefactor & Patron – An individual who contributes a specified amount or more to the Society. Includes a ten-year membership with all its privileges, including voting. The distinction between “Benefactor” and “Patron” shall be determined by the Board, from time to time, as a part of the annual dues structure.
Association – An association that contributes $200 or more to the Society. Includes a ten-year membership with all privileges, including voting (limited to the Association’s Delegate).
